As a privacy focused project, it is natural to leverage the zkPassport for compliance. You just prove you're not from sanctioned countries without revealing any personal data by scanning your passport NFC, generate proof locally and participate privately. No need to share your critical informations to a centralized entity prone to hacks and exploits. Great to see a fair community sale (where Vitalik and Aave’s founder, @StaniKulechov are invested) with a better pricing than a16z's 2022 entry without airdrops or hidden allocations.
