.@plumenetwork is acquiring @dinero_xyz, and it is probably something less talked about and is coming from both teams. The proposal was posted about 18 hours ago, and the majority of the votes (99%+) are already in favour of it. Dinero Treasury assets are currently over $9m, which is around its circulating mcap, and the token is valued at $0.01196 currently. Plume is offering $1m for this acquisition and providing dinero holders with stables against their holdings, which is a little premium of 10% over the market price. This premium seems to be also the reason for the recent price surge. While this might be a premium for some holders, Dinero long-term holders might be a bit under the water here because the token is down over 90% from its ATH. But as the proposal also suggests that it might be the best time to do this transition, as the treasury value is around the circulating market cap, and shutting down operations at a time that is still feasible and not harming the holders even more, is now. This will also mean all dinero products like pxETH, ipxETH, and others are gonna be migrated to Plume as their native products. Soon after the proposal is passed, Dinero will wind down its operations and dissolve its governance. The redemption contract to convert DINERO to USDC will be deployed and made available to holders.
