New L1s are popping up that are far inferior to $S @SonicLabs in every aspect. Sonic has been delivering this for 12 months now. It is genuinely painful to see that we have (or had) everything new and upcoming chains aspire for… and yet we are where we are today. Like it or not, institutions do care about decentralization especially if they are planning to rely on third party infrastructure. We should lower the self-staking requirement from 500K $S to 50K $S. And we should partner with a few node/infra providers so anyone can spin up a one click validator. Make it easier for holders to participate as validators.
